Archie Grubb, formerly an employee of the Monon RR died at his late residence in this city, of consumption on Jan 15.  Deceased leaves a wife and four children to mourn the loss of husband and father. His burial took place on Wednesday, with the honors of odd Fellowship of which order he was a member. Services were conducted by Elder Charpie of the Baptist Church. - kbz

Archie Grubb died this morning at 2 o’clock at his residence on north College avenue, after a long illness of consumption. He was a member of the Rensselaer Lodge IOOF and has been in the employ of the Monon Railway in diverse positions previous to his illness.  Deceased leaves a widow and four small children. The following funeral notice has been handed us for publication: The funeral of Archie F. Grubb will occur at 2:30 p.m. from residence on north College Avenue. Services by Rev. Charpie of the Baptist Church. Odd Fellows are requested to meet at Putnam Lodge room at 2 p.m. Wednesday. John A. Michael, NG – ET Chaffee, Sec’y.
